History
McBride Land & Development Co. was incorporated in 1995 and has been at its present location at 1553 S.E. Fort King Street, Ocala, Florida, since its inception.
McBride Land specializes in the development of residential subdivisions, mini-farms, mobile home subdivisions, and larger acreage tracts, ranging in size from 5 to 6,500 acres. McBride Land primarily markets properties owned by Sandy McBride, its President, or partnerships of which Sandy McBride has an interest.
This allows the Company to focus on properties of which it has the most knowledge and expertise, which assures the buyer that they are receiving accurate information to make a knowledgeable decision. In addition, relating directly with the seller allows the buyer to immediately obtain the best price and terms available.
McBride Land has sold over 2,000 individual parcels of land totaling over 30,000 acres and has assisted in the development and sale of over 60 residential and acreage tract subdivisions.

Sandy McBride, Broker/Owner, Realtor
Sandy McBride was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 15, 1960, but moved to Ocala, FL when he was 6 months old and has lived there all his life.
He attended Lake Weir High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and captain of the football and tennis teams. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1982 with a degree in Business Management and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He also graduated from the National Commercial Lending Graduate School in Norman,OK.
He was employed by Barnett Banks of Florida for over 8 years and was a vice president of commercial loans in charge of a $50,000,000 loan portfolio. Sandy then worked as a Broker Associate with Drake Properties for 6 years before founding McBride Land & Development Company.
His philanthropic affiliations include serving on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity (www.habitatocala.org) and vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees at First United Methodist Church. Sandy also serves as the Chairman of the Board for Gateway Bank of Central Florida (www.gatewaybankcfl.com) and is a member of the Marion County Board of Realtors and Chamber of Commerce.
His hobbies include golf, tennis, boating, hunting and attending University of Florida athletic events. He has been married to his lovely wife Robin for over 20 years and they have two daughters, Rae, 15 years and Robi, 12 years.

Nathan Garcia, Realtor Associate
Nathan Garcia was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on June 20, 1979. He moved to Ocala when he has 8 years old and attended elementary and middle school there. Just before entering high school, his family moved to Citrus County, where Nathan was active in high school athletics, including football, baseball and golf. He graduated with honors from Lecanto High School in 1997.
As a graduate from Florida State University, Nathan received his Bachelor's Degrees in Finance and Real Estate. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After college, he moved back to Ocala where he was employed by SunTrust Bank as an A.V.P. and loan officer in the Commerical Real Estate Department with a $25,000,000 loan portfolio. He also completed the Management Associate Program while employed there.
Nathan started with McBride Land & Development Company in April of 2005. His interests include outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
He is the co-chairman for the Andrew J. Semesco Foundation (www.ajsfoundation.org) golf tournament, which raises money to support oral cancer research, and he is also a mentor in the Take Stock in Children program funded by the Public Education Foundation of Marion County (www.pefmc.org). He has been an active member of the Ocala Lions Club for over 3 years.
